Tennessee Aquarium and Other Chattanooga Water Adventures

My two young boys and I packed the car and headed two hours north of Atlanta, GA to Chattanooga, TN.  This small Tennessee town is non-stop kid action, from the aquarium to the zoo! Our mission on this particular visit was water-based.  We visited the Tennessee Aquarium and watched a shark-themed IMAX movie.  We stayed at the city’s only 4-diamond hotel, which includes a gem of a pool, and then visited Coolidge Park, complete with water fountain fun and a carousel. Finally, we ended our trip with a walk over the Tennessee River on the world’s longest pedestrian bridge.

Boston With Kids

There’s a Veggie Tales song in which a long list of things never done concludes loudly with “I’ve never been to Boston in the fall!”  What a shame, poor veggies, they should hop on a grocery truck right away and get off at the Haymarket in downtown Boston!  Apparently, it’s THE place to see and be seen for Veggies in the Boston area, show up any Friday or Saturday to wander through the maze of stalls overflowing with everything from tomatoes and apples to Halal meat and you’ll see what I mean!  Boston is one of those American “must see” places that should be on every parent’s list before their kids grow up!  It is chock full of history and brimming with fun, all year ‘round… but fall is my absolute favorite!

The problem you’ll have in Boston isn’t what to see, it’s what NOT to see!

London in Autumn 2012

London. Yes, that beautiful huge city. We came back again to enjoy its elegance and diversities. From our last visit it passed almost ten years. Our delight hasn't vanished after all that time, so we decided to take our oldest child with us (13Y). After we made final decision and bought plane tickets, some of our friends expressed  interest to go with us on this 3-day trip. In the end we were in seven with another 13Y old child. This was the largest group that we ever traveled in our own arrangement. Based on our previous travels we decided not to take smaller kids with us because of all-day walking, eating junk food, and enormous crowd in the tube.
